surprised December 25, 2007 My nephew had suggested I watch this movie. I loved the movie and the music. It's on my ipod and I enjoy it each time one of the songs come up.
Great Soundtrack! October 23, 2007 The songs are great. It is a great example of traditional Indian music fused with more modern sounds. Wonderful soundtrack. I have owned this CD for two years, and I am not yet tired of it. This music is fresh and it is different... Just like the movie. The music made me want to see the movie, which I also loved.
Lagaan CD October 15, 2007 Caught the movie one day flipping channels and was glued to the screen. Loved the movie and had to get the music cd. My first Hindi movie and I think that I am hooked onto the music as well. Simply wonderful.
LAGAAN July 19, 2007 I was very satisfied with the CD. CD was of good quality and so was the case.
Familiar tune March 24, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
There is one song in this album where the tune appears to be lifted from the Youssou N'Dour song, "Tourista", from his Guide album (1994). Still, the mix is quite captivating.
