Wonderful way to EXPERIENCE the Bible. October 22, 2008

I saw parts of this at a Bible study at church and knew I wanted it in my collection.
I probably can never make a trip to the Holy Land but would love to walk where Abraham, Isaac, Jabob and Jesus walked. Well you can with this.
The scenery is breathtaking and you will learn so much. The first 5 books of the Bible will come alive to you. It is like you are there. The guide is Jewish and the personal insights he shares are very inspiring. He teaches the history and the truth but he also shares his heart.
If you want to get excited and connectd to the Old Testament this is a must.

I ordered the DVD, Walking the Bible, before taking a trip to Israel and it was wonderful to get some back ground on the places we ended up visiting. I would recommend it to others interested in the Holy Land!

The DVD "Walking the Bible" is a really great documentary that takes you through the Holy Land in conjunction with the Old Testiment. It is extremely worthwhile.Walking the Bible

I really enjoyed this DVD. It was nice to be able to see the land that I have for so long wanted to visit.
I would say that some of the things that are discussed seem very science driven and not Bible based. The narrator doesn't seem to be a real believer in the Truth. He just seems fascinated by the all the evidence that proves/supports the written word of God.
Don't let that discourage you from seeing this DVD. It's very inspiring.
