Low on suspense, too much description of India December 16, 2008
I usually love Robin Cook's writing, but this book was somewhat tedious. I felt I had to skim over lots and lots of descriptions of what India looks like since it really didn't add to the suspense of the novel. Normally, Laurie and Jack novels are so interesting and suspenseful, but this one was a slow read. I do know that with the detail of description of India, I would never want to visit there. The "excrement" in the street was enough to ward me off! This was just not one of Cook's best.
