 AU/NZ Adapter May 22, 2008
Does as claimed - it enables my North American cords to connect to AU/NZ electrical outlets. No complaints on this item, I stayed mostly in hotels whose outlets worked fine with this adapter. This is an adapter and NOT a converter - the electrical current is unchanged from the outlet to whatever you connect to the adapter.
As a side note, I did encounter several outlets that utilized a rounded ground pin rather than this units slat-type ground pin.
A+ Adaptor May 4, 2008
Just returned from NZ. This is a winner. Used it constantly to recharge my iPod and digital camera batteries. Worked like a charm. Not really designed for your camera bag because it's a little bulkier than other adaptors that don't have a grounding plug, but appears durable and a great deal none-the-less.

This is like any other travel adapter plugs...it provides power conversion. But I have to say this has a pretty sturdy build to it. My other travel adaptors that cost a fraction of the price feels flimsy. Overall, I recommend this item.
