 Painful and Sloppy September 10, 2008
I bought these in gold after owning a different pair of nine west slingbacks. They were terrible and never stayed on my foot! My toes went over the top, they flopped around in the back, and when they were on they were too painful to walk in.

They look cute, they are not patent, it is real leather on top, the only thing is that I ordered gold based on the picture and it is more a yellow gold than a light gold. But you can wear it to a fancy party anyways they are lovely.

These are too fabulous! The only thing I would recommend is that you size up a half size. I normally wear a 7.5 in ~85% of my shoes, unless the brand is known to run small. All my NineWest shoes, with the exception of this one, are all 7.5. This particular one though, I had to size up to an 8 for the perfect fit. I like to add a ball-of-foot pad as well for additional comfort and the size 8 allowed me to do this without taking up extra foot/toe room.

I wore this stylish shoe all night to a wedding. It did not bother me (i.e. slip off my heel, create blisters) walking around or dancing. The color dark grey went very well with my yellow dress. I highly recommend this shoe and plan to buy it in at least one other color.
Hard to walk in! June 27, 2008
These shoes are cute, but the heel is almost 4 inches! For me, they are very hard to walk in and the strap won't stay on my heel. Always slides off. I bought these for a wedding I'm in, but I don't believe I'll be wearing them any other time.
