Not truly caftan, kaftan, has fitted bodice September 5, 2008
I ordered two differt patterns. They were custom made for me after ordered. Upon delivery, I discovered they were not true kaftans, but had fitted bodice, I believe of Muslim design. The dresses are very beautiful, but are not kaftans (caftans). Shrinkage is great, so order much larger than your true size.
