The aim of the puzzle is to enter a numeral from 1 through 9 in each cell of a 9 x 9 grid made up of 3 x 3 sub-grids (called regions), starting with various numerals given in some cells (the givens). Each row, column and region must contain only one instance of each numeral. Solving the puzzle requires patience and logical ability. Its grid layout is reminiscent of other newspaper puzzles like crosswords and chess problems. Although first published in 1979, Sudoku became popular in Japan in 1986 and took the United Kingdom by storm.

My mother loves the game but the lighting is terrible. Very hard to see the screen. Needs better lighting.

Ordered this as a gift, was back ordered, canceled order, order was sent and billed anyway. Game screen is very hard to read, must be held at just the right angle. Otherwise easy to play.

The product is not very good. The game is okay, but the lighting on this product is terrible. This is a very difficult company to deal with. No
phone number or information on returning a product is included. I returned this product and it took me about an hour to finally find the phone number of the company on the internet. I had to call to get instructions for returns. Then when I returned the product, the company only refunded about half of the purchase price. This company is a very big RIP OFF. I would not do business with the company at all. If you do, do so at your own risk. RIP OFF RIP OFF.....

I bought and attempted to use this item to no avail. The screen lacks contrast and can only be easily read if the game is slanted a certain way. The available backlight helps a little, but not for me. This has been consigned to the pile of junk I have bought and never have and never will use. A waste!

Game was easy to use, but it had to be tilted at just the right angle to be read. Face was easily scratched.
